  • A successful 2-day service engineer training seminar

July proved to be a busy, yet productive month for Danfoss Fire Safety A/S.  We are very glad to have completed another successful training seminar focused on operation and maintenance of SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist systems.  Peter M. Knudsen, Market Solution Manager & Leader in our SEM-SAFE® Academy Training Program is very satisfied with the outcome of the recent training. "We just completed a successful 2-day partner service engineer training seminar in our headquarters in Odense, Denmark. There were 8 service engineers participating from 7 of our great partners in Europe; MARANG Brandschutz & Technologie GmbH, and Multimon Industrieanlagen GmbH from Germany, Dunamenti from Hungary, Unica Fire Safety from the Netherlands, Fireworks from the UK, Automatic Fire from Ireland and GM sprinkler from Poland. We covered much of the huge “Operation & Maintenance” subject, a lot about control of the pump unit, details and function of each tiny Danfoss component, and changing of the high-pressure pumps in a unit. The immediate feedback we received from our enthusiastic, and indeed interesting, participants was overwhelming... thank you all for that!", says Peter M. Knudsen.

    The Danfoss SEM-SAFE® Academy

This training seminar is part of our SEM-SAFE® Academy programme, which we organise periodically in Danfoss Fire Safety. The SEM-SAFE® Academy comprises several training modules which focus on, for example, sales training, basic and advanced introduction to the SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist, and technical training. The programme targets our Business Distributors, but is also for other customer groups that are interested in learning more about SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist for fire fighting.

Last week, our colleague Oliver Bradley, Solution Manager at Danfoss, was overjoyed to see his sons, William & Gustav Aasholm-Bradley from Yacht Club Furesoen, North Sjælland, Denmark, win respectively gold and silver at the World Championship in dinghy sailing at Garda Lake, Italy. Fifty-two sailors from around the world took part in the event - a total of 12 races over 4 days. The sailing dinghy class is called Zoom 8, and is for youth up to around 15 yrs old. The day after the World Championships, William and Gustav also took part in the European Championships for Team Racing and won gold for Denmark. Congratulations to the persistent boys and to the supportive parents. You can read more about the event here (link in Danish) or contact Oliver Bradley via oliver.bradley@danfoss.com
