China´s dominant position during the last decade in the shipyard industry makes it the ideal place for companies to present and sell their products to the marine industry. Danfoss Semco is very proud to have been an exhibitor at this fair in a large stand shared with other Danfoss divisions, all in a common effort to show our great commitment to the marine world through our portfolio of professional and reliable products. The theme of this year was promoting a safe and green sail. The theme is reflected in the products displayed as well as the stand activities. As one of the leading fire protection specialists Danfoss Semco A/S – Fire Protection strives on continuous basis to be on the very forefront with new product innovation and system development. This year Danfoss Semco promoted among other the new high-pressure water mist bilge protection nozzle, which by the Confederation of Danish Industry recently was awarded the 2015 Product Price because of its clear benefits and degree of innovation. In addition, the innovative Danfoss Semco low-pressure CO2 system for large engine and cargo rooms was presented. We are very grateful for the large number of customers and guests that came to visit our stand. November has proven to be an interesting and very busy month for the Danfoss Semco marketing and land department. In close collaboration with Fireworks Ltd., our distributor in the United Kingdom, we have organised two events targeting key contacts in the British market. On the 25th of November 2015, the Houses of Parliament was the incredible location chosen to host our first event.  A select group of clients, together with key representatives from Danfoss Semco and Fireworks, enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Westminster, which is the meeting place of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, as well as a royal residence of the “Crown”.  The tour was followed by a lovely dinner, networking and fantastic conversation. The day ended on a high note as we got the chance to visit the “Viewing Gallery” where we witnessed the Chancellor, George Osbourne deliver his autumn statement. With more than 90,000 seats Wembley is the second largest stadium in Europe. It was a great honour to be able to hold our seminar in the same location that has hosted major sport events and where legendary voices, such as Michael Jackson and Tina Turner have been heard. The event focused on the “Benefits of High-Pressure Water Mist Systems in Commercial Applications” and there were more than 65 guests from different companies from all around the United Kingdom. The event received accreditation from the Institute of Fire Engineers. The seminar has proven to be a great learning opportunity concerning the advantages of using high-pressure water mist technology for fire fighting. The day ended with a grand tour of Wembley Stadium, which included access to the beautiful stadium pitch.
