Successful events in Big Ben’s city

November has proven to be an interesting and very busy month for the Danfoss Semco marketing and land department. In close collaboration with Fireworks Ltd., our distributor in the United Kingdom, we have organised two events targeting key contacts in the British market.
On the 25th of November 2015, the Houses of Parliament was the incredible location chosen to host our first event. A select group of clients, together with key representatives from Danfoss Semco and Fireworks, enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Westminster, which is the meeting place of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, as well as a royal residence of the “Crown”. The tour was followed by a lovely dinner, networking and fantastic conversation. The day ended on a high note as we got the chance to visit the “Viewing Gallery” where we witnessed the Chancellor, George Osbourne deliver his autumn statement.

The second event took place the very next day on the 26th of November at Wembley Stadium, a location that is so representative of the British love of sport and leisure. With more than 90,000 seats Wembley is the second largest stadium in Europe. It was a great honour to be able to hold our seminar in the same location that has hosted major sport events and where legendary voices, such as Michael Jackson and Tina Turner have been heard.
The event focused on the “Benefits of High-Pressure Water Mist Systems in Commercial Applications” and there were more than 65 guests from different companies from all around the United Kingdom. The event received accreditation from the Institute of Fire Engineers. The seminar has proven to be a great learning opportunity concerning the advantages of using high-pressure water mist technology for fire fighting. The day ended with a grand tour of Wembley Stadium, which included access to the beautiful stadium pitch.
