 Navy & Patrol vessels

Danfoss has the experience and technological knowledge to provide you with reliable fire fighting solutions for a range of naval applications.

Danfoss can help protect every area of your ship against fire. Our variety of fire fighting systems is designed in accordance with IMO/SOLAS regulations which make us the safe choice within fire protection of naval vessels.

Protected areas

The SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system covers total and local protection in the engine room but can easily be extended into covering accommodation and galley as well. One further advantage of the SEM-SAFE® system is the possibility of bilge area protection with high-pressure water mist instead of a foam system. In addition, electronic rooms and switchboard rooms can also be protected with a SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system.

The SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system from Danfoss is designed for instant release hence rapid fire control. Navy and patrol vessels are costly in operation and minimising downtime is paramount. The SEM-SAFE® system is at the forefront when ensuring safety at sea.

Helideck / mission deck and ammunition store are also areas that can be protected with a fire fighting system from Danfoss.
