Danfoss continues to invest heavily in new approvals, as a consequence of new nozzle development as well as the need to adapt to new standards.

As one of the leading suppliers to the marine industry, the SEM-SAFE^® fighting systems from Danfoss are recognised by all leading classification societies and national maritime authorities, including:

ABS, BV, DNV GL, FM, KRS, LRS, NK, PRS, CCS, RINA.

Danfoss has experience in the design, engineering and delivery of thousands of marine fire fighting systems all over the world, in accordance with SOLAS/IMO regulations, and approved for each ship by the relevant classification society and national authority.

In addition to external approvals, Danfoss Fire Safety also internally operates a HSE&Q system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and DS/ISO 45001:2018.
