Approvals
Continuous testing and improvement of system design is paramount to efficient and cost effective systems. An integral part of this process is the testing of both components and complete systems by independent third party test laboratories.
The approvals for industrial and commercial applications are obtained by testing according to specifications developed and published by for example, FM, UL, VdS, TÜV, DBI and ISO, as well as from the European guideline CEN / TS.
Danfoss was one of the first companies to obtain approvals in accordance with the European technical guideline TS 14972 for ordinary hazard with a spacing as high as 5.5 meters, and up to 6 m ceiling height for public spaces. Danfoss is also among the firsts companies to have VdS certificates for ordinary hazard applications, i.e. OH1 and OH2.
In addition to external approvals, the HSE&Q system in Danfoss is audited and approved by DNV in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, DS/ISO 45001:2018.
The Danfoss production complies with high international standards and has been approved by Bureau Veritas, VdS and FM.
Both our production in Denmark and China has been approved and certified by CCCF authorities. Our SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system has successfully passed rigorous component and fire tests criteria according to Chinese standards and regulations.
