Reliable fire technology for keeping data centres safe

Data centres are at the heart of modern IT infrastructure.  Critical and sensitive data centre equipment must be kept operational  in case of a fire situation.  With our our SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system, the fight against fire is more efficient, with the ultimate goal of protecting people and equipment. The SEM-SAFE® system will activate fast in the area where fire has been detected, ensuring rapid cooling.

Key benefits:

  • High-pressure water mist has been documented to be harmless to electrical installation, thus enabling the data centre to keep running while fighting a fire.
  • Ventilation can be kept running
  • There is no need for shutting fire dampers.
  • Due to minimal water damage to equipment, minimal downtime is achieved.
  • The SEM-SAFE® system is FM approved and has successfully passed testing at 57°C and 68°C.
